Maggie's Getting Married
Langham Court Theatre Opens 2023/24 Season with Heart-Warming Canadian Comedy
Langham Court Theatre Society opens its 2023/24 season with the touching and entertaining comedy, “Maggie’s Getting Married,” written by popular Canadian playwright, Norm Foster, and directed by Jacqollyne Keath.
Returning from the wedding rehearsal, everyone has an opinion about Maggie and Russell! Exploring family dynamics up close and personal, this heart-warming and often hilarious story follows the trials and tribulations that come on the eve of a big family wedding. The kitchen of the Duncan family home takes center stage as Maggie’s parents reflect on their marriage, sibling rivalries resurface, and Maggie’s older sister, Wanda, discovers that she knows the groom a little better than Maggie would like her to.
Cast:
Tom Duncan: Alan Penty
Cass Duncan: Linda Dohmeier
Maggie Duncan: Stephanie Geehan
Wanda Duncan: Tess Wiens
Russel MacMillan: Daniel Handford
Axel Wilkie: Jacob Insley
