WestJet tugs the heartstrings with annual Christmas Miracle video

WestJet has gone above and beyond once again for its annual Christmas Miracle video.

Filmed at a Christmas market in Toronto, this year's video showcases families as they are posed with the age-old question of whether it's better to give or receive.

Each family has the choice to either receive a gift, or give it to a deserving family with sick children staying at a Ronald McDonald House, with the gifts ranging from a $2,500 WestJet gift card to a seven-day, all-inclusive vacation at the Grand Palladium Resort & Spa.

“The conversation around giving and receiving is a powerful one, and this year’s video finds inspiration in both sides of the story,” said Richard Bartrem, WestJet vice-president of marketing communications.

“The authentic reactions and emotions ... make this year’s Christmas Miracle truly heartwarming.”
