Canadian police locate stolen car while tracking a moose on the loose

A moose on the loose in St. John’s, N.L. helped police locate a stolen vehicle last night, although the animal was oblivious to the help it provided.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to several calls last night about the moose wandering all around the city.

Police say that the moose wandered through the city’s Rabbittown area before moving west, then south toward the downtown area.

As officers tracked to wayward moose, it passed by a vehicle that was reportedly stolen the previous night.

The moose just kept moving along, totally unaware of its role in delivering some justice.

The moose was last seen headed into a wooded area after evading police.
