PHOTOS: Canadians commemorate Broncos organ donor with Green Shirt Day

On his 21st birthday, Humboldt Broncos defenceman registered as an organ donor. After his passing, six donor recipients benefitted from his decision and over 100,000 Canadians registered as organ donors in the weeks following his death.

The massive movement was referred to as the Logan Boulet effect. Numerous cities and organizations responded by honouring Logan Boulet and the Broncos players involved in the accident with Green Shirt Day to be held today, on Apr. 7.

Here are some of the Canadians who commemorated Logan Boulet, who died in the Broncos bus crash on Apr. 6, 2018.
