A popular Tim Hortons mug is being recalled nationwide after reports it can crack or break when filled with hot liquid, posing a potential burn hazard.
The recall affects the pink and white colour-changing donut mug, a 16-ounce ceramic product featuring a donut design that changes appearance when hot liquid is poured inside. The mug has a white exterior with a donut graphic and a pink interior and handle.
Health Canada says there have been 28 reported incidents in Canada involving the mug breaking or cracking during use, including one report of a burn injury.

More than 25,000 units of the affected product were sold across the country between January and February 2026, both at Tim Hortons locations and through the company’s online store.
Consumers are being advised to stop using the mug immediately and return it to a Tim Hortons restaurant for a full refund by April 22, though returns may still be accepted after that date.
Health Canada notes that recalled products cannot be resold or redistributed in Canada.
