Health Canada has ordered the recall of a brand of baby sun hats after they were found to pose a choking hazard.
The Joe Fresh Baby Girl and Baby Boy Sun Hats being withdrawn from the market come in sizes 0-12 and are designed for children aged 12-24 months.
A loop fastener on the product can detach and potentially choke the wearer.
About 64,100 of the hats have been sold in Canada.
Health Canada is urging anyone that has bought one of the hats to immediately stop using it and to return it to any Loblaws store for a full refund.
The hats, which are made in China, were sold between January 2019 and June 2019.
But as of June 28 this year, there have been no reports of injuries or incidents.
