A brand of sausages is being recalled due to concerns about undercooking, Health Canada said.
Harvest Meats said its Polish Sausages (675 g) line is affected.
Health Canada said the product should not be consumed and instead thrown out or returned to the store from which it was bought.
Eating the food could lead to sickness, the agency explained.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is now conducting a food safety investigation, which could lead to the recall of other products.
The recall affects customers in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Ontario and Saskatchewan.
