2. Father of one of the Florida shooting victims speaks out against gun violence
The father of Jaime Guttenberg, 14, who was one of the 17 people killed in the Parkland high school shooting in Florida yesterday, gave an emotional cry for change against gun violence during a candlelight vigil in memory of the victims.

4. Black Panther opens in theatres tonight
Black Panther has reached UK theatres and is already dominating the box-office, ranking among the best Marvel movies. Deadline reported Thursday's preview run grossed $25.5 million this morning. The film is being called a 'cultural milestone,' with several celebrities, such as Octavia Spencer, buying out theatres to ensure famlies who are low on funds can still see the film.
