1. Alabama newspaper editor facing pressure to resign after KKK comments

A newspaper editor in a small Alabama town is facing plenty of pressure to resign after he wrote a controversial editorial. Goodloe Sutton wrote an article on Feb. 14 that called for the “Ku Klux Klan to night ride again.” Despite all the anger and a pair of universities withdrawing his awards, Sutton continues to stand by his editorial.


2. Mötley Crüe biopic coming to Netflix

The first trailer for the upcoming Mötley Crüe biopic has arrived. The Dirt arrives on Netflix on March 22 and the trailer has music fans quite excited to watch it. The biopic is based on the best-selling novel of the same name, which was released in 2001 and shared some of the wild stories from the bands career.


3. Manny Machado signs record-setting contract with the San Diego Padres

The Manny Machado saga is finally over, as it’s been reported that the all-star third baseman has signed with the San Diego Padres. Machado inked a 10-year, $300-million deal, the biggest free agency contract in the history of American sports. However, now that Machado has signed, it’s expected Bryce Harper will sign in the near future and break that record.


4. Bernie Sanders campaign reports raising $4 million in 12 hours

On Tuesday, Bernie Sanders announced that he would once again be running for President of the United States. His announcement generated a lot of buzz and it’s also generated a lot of financial support. His campaign reports that 150,000 donors across all 50 states donated $4 million in just 12 hours following his announcement.


5. Lady Gaga and Christian Carino have ended their relationship

Fans of A Star is Born are now calling for a fairy tale love story between Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga to happen in real life. This comes after Lady Gaga and her fiancé, talent agent Christian Carino, announced that they had called off their engagement. A source close to the couple says there’s no dramatic story behind the split, they just realized they “weren’t going to work out in the long run.”
