Start your day off right with five things you need to know this morning.
Five things you need to know
1. Cape Town could become the first major city to run out of water
This is the furthest thing from good. The capital of South Africa could run out of water as soon as March. The city plans to cut residents’ water allowance to 50 litres per day in February. Cape Town’s water supply has been dangerously low following a three-year drought and a growing population.

2. Stormy Daniels says Trump asked her to spank him with a Forbes magazine
The saga between Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels continues to take odd turns. The former porn star was interviewed by In Touch Weekly, in which she claimed that Trump asked her to spank him with a Forbes Magazine that had the now-president and his family on the cover. A pair of off-duty doctors stepped up in a big way during an Air France flight. A 41-year-old woman went into labour halfway through the eight-hour international flight, but luckily Dr. Sij Hemal and Dr. Susan Shepherd were on board to make sure everything went smoothly.

5. New Zealand’s prime minister is pregnant
Jacinda Ardern made history last year when she became the youngest prime minister in New Zealand’s history. Now she’s making headlines again as the 37-year-old has announced that she’s pregnant. Ardern is expecting the baby in June.
We thought 2017 was a big year! This year we’ll join the many parents who wear two hats. I’ll be PM & a mum while Clarke will be “first man of fishing” & stay at home dad. There will be lots of questions (I can assure you we have a plan all ready to go!) but for now bring on 2018 pic.twitter.com/nowAYOhAbF
