A pair of fighter jets have crashed into each other in a remote part of northern Germany. Miraculously, both pilots are okay after ejecting from their planes shortly before the crash. The collision did spark a forest fire, which is spreading rapidly due to a recent drought.

The Vancouver Canucks were busy over the weekend. The team hosted the 2019 NHL entry draft at Rogers Arena, drafting nine players and making a sizeable trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning. The trade saw the Canucks deal a package around a conditional first-round pick in exchange for forward J.T. Miller.

It’s been one year since 12 boys and their football coach spent 18 days trapped in a cave in Thailand. On Sunday, they marked the anniversary of their rescue at the Tham Luang Cave, which is still closed off to the public.

A seven-story building collapsed in Cambodia on Saturday and the death toll continues to rise. The latest reports say 26 are now dead and around the same amount are injured. The building was under construction when it fell to the ground over the weekend and most of the deceased were workers.

One of Canada’s most popular bands played a big show in Toronto on Saturday and they had the crowd going wild when they brought out a special guest. Not only did Toronto Raptors coach Nick Nurse come out on stage, but he played guitar as well. Nurse and the band jammed out to Stevie Wonder’s classic “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours.”
