You can call Namina, a two-year-old Great Dane, a supermom. The dog went into labour last Wednesday and it lasted well into Thursday, as Namine birthed 21 puppies over a 27-hour span. Unfortunately, two of the puppies died shortly after birth, but nearly all of the dogs weighed over a pound. Namine’s proud owner, Tanya Dubbs of Pocahontas, Virginia, said she was surprised by the number of puppies born, expecting something closer to 13-14.

The Trappist solar system has long enticed astronomers since it was spotted just 40 light-years away.
