Five things you need to know
1. Japan’s cyber security minister has never used a computer
There’s lying on a resume and then there’s Japan’s cyber security minister. Today, the 68-year-old admitted that he’s never actually used a computer and didn’t appear to know what a USB drive was. He explained that he’s always just ordered his employees or secretaries to handle that kind of stuff for him.

3. Le’Veon Bell didn’t show up, so his ‘teammates’ divvied up his stuff
On Tuesday, Le’Veon Bell didn’t show up and sign a contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers by the 4 p.m. EST deadline, which meant he was ineligible to play in the NFL this season. Less than 24 hours later, his teammates (who are soon to be former teammates) went through his locker with a finders-keepers mentality, divvying up the all-pro running back’s gear.

5. California wildfire evacuees make temporary homes in Walmart parking lot
Thousands of people have been displaced by the Camp Fire in Northern California and many have settled in the parking lot of a Walmart in Chico, California. It’s become a refugee camp of sorts for the people who had to quickly flee their homes and leave their lives behind late last week. Others are dropping off clothing, food, toys, diapers and other supplies for the evacuees, who are living in trailers, tents and even their cars.
