On Tuesday, Premier Jason Kenney made a minor cabinet shuffle, swapping the roles of the province’s health minister and labour minister. Critics say the decision will do nothing to stem the surge of people with COVID-19, which is currently overwhelming Alberta’s health-care system. Some UCP constituency associations are even considering passing motions asking for an expedited party leadership review.
Nobody in Alberta, getting paid to pay attention thinks #Kenney will face #Notley in the next go. "I think that his personal brand is ruined. The current situation is really quite disastrous and it's going to get worse before it gets better." https://t.co/jaT0J0xPEf

Billionaire Marc Lore and celebrated architect Bjarke Ingel have a massive project in mind. The duo wants to build an entire city from scratch in the desert of the western USA. Called Telosa, the fully-contained city would be extended over 150,000 acres and have a population of five million within 40 years. It would be “sustainable” and “equitable” they say, but some are calling it a “vanity project” and “a greenwashed Vegas.”

The rules do not recognize travellers from India as vaccinated, even if they have received both doses of the Covidshield vaccine, which is the same as the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine but manufactured in India. India’s external affairs ministry called the policy discriminatory.
The UK government’s new international travel rules, which do not recognise people vaccinated in India as being "fully vaccinated", have been blasted as "offensive" "bizarre" and "racist" : ToI report #UK #India #Covid #Vaccine https://t.co/PlqXoyoJ49
