One of the most controversial results of the United States’ 2020 presidential election was in Arizona’s Maricopa county. An independent audit has confirmed that President Joe Biden did in fact beat Donald Trump, as the former president received 45,469 fewer votes than his successor.

One of the most anticipated golf events around is underway at Whistling Straits Golf Course in Wisconsin. It’s Team USA against Team Europe in the 43rd Ryder Cup. Europe has had more success in the biennial event in recent years, but the USA has brought one of its most stacked teams ever this time around. At the Nintendo Direct showcase on Thursday, the company made a surprising and interesting announcement. Nintendo is teaming up with the studio behind Despicable Me to bring a new Mario movie to the big screen in December 2022. It’s set to star Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong.
