Streets and homes have been flooded after a devastating hurricane battered Florida. More than 2.4 million homes are without power in the Sunshine State after Hurricane Ian made landfall on Wednesday.
Hurricane Ian left a path of destruction in southwest Florida, trapping people in homes, flooding streets and buildings, and knocking out power across the region.

Vladimir Putin is set to hold a signing ceremony on Friday to formally annex parts of Ukraine. Officials in the Ukrainian regions claimed that citizens voted in favour of joining Russia, but international observers have rejected the referenda's authenticity.
