You can name a cockroach after your ex and watch it get devoured on Valentine’s Day

If you’re dreading the day of love due to an old flame, this Valentine’s Day event is for you.

The San Antonio Zoo in the U.S. is holding A “Cry me a Cockroach” promotion, which allows you to name a cockroach after your ex in order to help mend your broken heart.

On February 14, those cockroaches will be fed to the birds and reptiles at the zoo.

And, if your ex was a snake, you can instead purchase a pre-frozen rodent to be fed to the reptiles. You’ll even receive a certificate that you can share on social media.

You can watch the feeding frenzy on their live video feed.

You can submit your ex’s name until Feb. 14, 2020, at 4 pm PST. Naming a cockroach costs $5 while a rodent will cost $25 (totally worth it).

The El Paso Zoo held a very similar event last year, only the cockroaches were fed to some hungry meerkats.

They will be continuing the tradition as well, with the “Quit Bugging Me” promotion.

Their meerkats, birds and other small animals will be fed over the course of three days for the anti-Valentine’s Days event.

Go ahead and get some closure!
