Customers are now required to wear face coverings at Starbucks

You now need a face covering to enter almost any Starbucks location in Canada.

The coffee chain announced in late August that customers soon will be required to wear facial coverings while visiting all company-owned café locations and that policy change took effect today.

‘The company is committed to playing a constructive role in supporting health and government officials as they work to mitigate the spread of COVID-19,” said a release from Starbucks Canada.

“All decisions are grounded in partner and customer care and safety, based on facts and science, and communicated with transparency.”

If you want to get your Starbucks fix, but don’t want to wear a face covering, there’s still a few options, which include:

  • Drive-thru
  • Curbside pickup through the Starbucks app
  • Placing an order for delivery through Starbucks Delivers

Face coverings have been mandatory at Starbucks locations in the United States since July 15.
