Big Macs are just $3 at McDonald’s for the next week

If you’re looking for a quick, cheap lunch or dinner over the next few days, a stop at McDonald’s might be in order.

To celebrate changes to how the fast-food chain cooks and serves its iconic lineup of beef burgers, McDonald’s is offering up a great deal on Big Macs.

For the next seven days, a Big Mac will only cost you $3 at any location across Canada.

If you take advantage of this offer, you may notice that the burger has a little more Big Mac sauce on it and that’s just one of the changes that McDonald’s is making to the burger lineup.

Patties will also be cooked in smaller batches for “hotter and juicier beef,” and onions will be added directly to burgers while they’re on the grill in an effort to intensify flavour.

In addition, McDonald’s is introducing new bun recipes and storage changes to keep the produce that goes on those burgers “fresher and crispier.”

The $3 Big Mac deal is available until Aug. 19, which means you have one week to scrounge up a trio of loonies from the couch cushions and go taste the new changes for yourself.
