You probably don’t need an excuse to buy a Blizzard on a hot summer day, but you certainly have one today.
It's Dairy Queen’s 22nd annual Miracle Treat Day and money from every Blizzard sold going to support sick children.
In British Columbia and the Yukon, net proceeds from Blizzards sold at 123 participating DQ locations will go to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation (BCCHF).
“This means pediatric health care experts will have more resources to tackle the most complex health challenges facing kids across BC and the Yukon,” said Rita Thodos, executive VP of philanthropy at the BCCHF.
“By treating yourself to something sweet on Aug. 8, you have the power to make a mighty difference in the lives of patients and their families.”
Last year, more than $2 million was raised across Canada for the Children’s Miracle Network, including just over $280,000 for the BCCHF.
With all that in mind, head over to DQ today and beat the heat with a delicious Blizzard that will help support a wonderful cause!
