You may have spotted this Kelowna-based taco truck in front of Red Bird Brewing, the Landmark Center or at the UBC Okanagan campus, but if you haven’t given their food a try you’re missing out.
Surf Side California was voted “Best Food 2019” by festival attendees in the “People’s Choice Awards” at Penticton’s Fest of Ale this weekend.
Owners Heidi and Ian Locket were amped on their win, and they were excited to “taco ‘bout” it.
“The Surf Side Crew is bubbling with excitement after receiving this award for ‘Best Food 2019!’” said Ian.
“Thank you for an amazing Fest of Ale!”
Surf Side is closed on Monday and Tuesday, but you can try the truck voted Best Food at the Landmark Center between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesday, or at Red Bird Brewing between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
