McDonald's is giving away 'free' cheeseburgers on Tuesday

Looking for an excuse to visit McDonald’s this week?

The iconic fast food stop is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day on Tuesday by giving away “free” cheeseburgers.

Of course, nothing in life is completely free, but if you’re willing to spend a minute downloading McDonald’s “My McD’s” app and use it to make any purchase, the free cheeseburger is yours!

The offer is limited to Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, and is available at any McDonald’s location in Canada.

Despite being an American company, the McDonald's has special ties to B.C., where they open their first restaurant in Richmond way back in 1970.
