Several restaurants in Victoria are among the most romantic in the country, according to a newly released list from OpenTable.
As the season of romance falls upon us, OpenTable has released the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in Canada for 2023.

Even if you can’t secure a table at one of these spots, the survey found that one other factor is just as important as where you dine.
“Minding one’s manners is just as important as choosing the right restaurant when it comes to date-night success,” the OpenTable team says. “Being rude to servers, frequent texting at the table, excessive drinking and chewing with an open mouth are all dinner-date deal-breakers for British Columbians.”
The survey also showed that 80% of respondents celebrating Valentine’s Day are enthusiastic about splurging on local restaurants and plan to spend over $41 per person.
Additionally, more than two-thirds of British Columbians are comfortable with bill splitting for a Valentine’s Day date.
