Today is Miracle Treat Day at DQ, aka the perfect excuse to buy a Blizzard

It’s hard to beat a delicious Dairy Queen Blizzard on a hot summer day.

One thing that is better, however, is a delicious Dairy Queen Blizzard on a hot summer day and knowing that the proceeds are going to a wonderful cause.

That is the case today as it is the 20th annual Miracle Treat Day at the popular ice cream franchise.

Net proceeds from every Blizzard sold today will be donated to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

It’s one of 12 Children’s Miracle Network hospital foundations across the country that are being supported by this annual event.

In 2021 alone, local children’s hospitals in Canada delivered care through nearly three-million in-person and virtual visits.

Since the partnership began 38 years ago, Dairy Queen has raised more than $46 million for the Children’s Miracle Network.

With all that being said, make sure you get to your local Dairy Queen today and wolf down a Blizzard, or perhaps even two, for a very important cause!
