Police say two men were stabbed on Sooke Road this Saturday after an altercation erupted between a group of people.
Just after 6 pm, Sooke RCMP responded to the 6600 block of Sooke Road for a report of a man who had been stabbed.
Police, with the help of the public, initiated first aid on the victims until an ambulance arrived. The men were taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The suspect, a 21-year-old man was located nearby and was arrested.
RCMP say the events leading up to the altercation are being investigated.
“This appears to be an isolated incident and there does not appear to be any further risk to the public,” the department added.
