Kamloops Airport is starting to get busy!
After 92,471 travellers made their way through the airport in the first three months of last year, nearly 10,000 more did so at the same time this year.
According to the quarter one traveller numbers for 2019, 101,966 travellers made their way through the Kamloops Airport. The rise is an 8.9% change on the already previous record high.
"Passenger numbers continue to reflect positive growth with another highest-ever first quarter for Kamloops Airport, as well as the best January, February and March performance on record," wrote Ed Ratuski, Managing Director of the airport.
"We look forward to meeting continued growth with the introduction of additional seat capacity on the Vancouver service and the return of Air Canada Rouge’s non-stop service to Toronto in July."
