Kamloops Fire Rescue was busy in the early hours of the morning, this time responding to a trailer fire on Salish Road.
According to platoon captain Darryl Cooper, the blaze started just after 1:12 a.m. at 1260 Salish Road.
"1260 Salish Road at 1:12 in the morning," said Cooper. "We were on scene for an hour and a half."
Cooper adds that a decent-sized crew was needed to combat the blaze.
"15 people on scene so four trucks. It came in as a structure fire, when we arrived on scene we found two RV type trailers fully engulfed."
Cooper mentioned that no one was injured during the fire, but it is being treated as suspicious.
"No injuries... FPO was investigating this morning, one trailer was being lived in, but nobody was home at the time of the fire. So it is being treated as suspicious though."
This is the second fire to hit Salish Road in the last 30 days.
