Mounties in Ashcroft have requested some help from the public in locating equipment that was stolen from the Historic Hat Creek Ranch.
According to the RCMP, an irrigation hose reel was stolen overnight on Thursday, Aug. 4.
The piece of equipment is described as an Idrofoglia J1 hose reel with a model number of 40F125.
According to a Facebook post from Hat Creek Ranch, the serial number is 34052.
RCMP believe that those responsible dismantled a fence to gain access to the ranch and steal the equipment.
“Farming equipment is expensive and its loss can have a huge impact on businesses,” stated Cst. Richard Wright.
“We are asking that the public keep an eye out for the stolen hose reel.”
