Canada Day is tomorrow and it will be a big celebration after two straight years of the holiday being impacted by the pandemic.
To help people celebrate safely, BC Transit is offering free public transit in Kamloops for the entire day.
Buses will be operating on a Saturday-level service for the duration of Friday.
However, extended evening service will not be offered this year due to the change in the Canada Day schedule.
“For those transit riders traveling with a bicycle, a bike valet service will be available at the main event site at Riverside Park from 10:30 am until 6:30 pm,” BC Transit noted.
