'Thousands of dollars worth' of jewelry stolen in downtown Kamloops

The Kamloops RCMP are looking for more information or witnesses of a break and enter that happened last week.

A news release says officers were called to the 100-block of Victoria Street on Friday, April 26, around 7:45 am.

When the officers arrived, they found a large smashed window.

“Inside the building, thousands of dollars worth of jewelry was stolen,” the release says.

“A review of the security footage showed the incident occurred around 3:15 am.”

The RCMP say the Forensic Identification Service Unit is helping in the investigation.

Police ask anyone with video or information that may be related to call the detachment at (250) 828-3000 and reference file 2024-12121.
