Williams Lake couple arrested for allegedly assaulting bar staff

A couple was arrested on Friday for allegedly assaulting bar staff at a Williams Lake bar.

Just before 10 pm, on Aug. 5, police officers responded to a report of an assault at an establishment on Oliver Street.

When officers arrived on scene, they were quick to detain a 39-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, both from Williams Lake.

Both were arrested for their alleged attacks on staff. Several charges of assault have been approved for both individuals.

The Williams Lake RCMP are asking for any witness or those with more information to call the detachment at (250) 392-6211.
