Live music, car shows, enchanted tea, markets and more this weekend in Kelowna

Got some friends and family in town? Looking for an easy date night? Are you and the pals looking for something to do? We got you covered.

There’s always lots going on around town, and you can check out local Kelowna events on our page here and you can even add your own!

While not everything can be found in the KelownaNow events section, we’ve scoured the internet to find all the fun things going on this weekend, and present them to you on a silver platter.

Gonzo Okanagan Music Industry Golf Tournament & Festival - June 25

Looking for a music festival in town? Well, lucky for you there’s a jam-packed event heading our way for one night only.

In its third year, the Gonzo Okanagan Music Industry Golf Tournament & Festival brings the community together to raise funds for MusiCounts and the local non-profit organization, Gonzo Fundraising Association.

While the golf tournament sold out in just a matter of minutes, tickets for the festival are still available online for $59 or at the door the day for $69.

Wonderland Afternoon Tea - June 25 & 26, July 9 & 10 and July 30 & 31

Looking to take a trip down the rabbit hole to spend your un-birthday in Wonderland? Well, now you can.

Amongst the apple trees of Rose Hill Orchard, you will enjoy a whimsical afternoon tea with a variety of savouries, scones with clotted cream, homemade jam and petit desserts that are sure to delight.

You won’t want to be late for this very important date with the Mad Hatter.

Russell Peters: Act Your Age World Tour - June 25

Don’t check this out if you hate laughing because Russel Peters is sure to keep you giggling all night long.

After four years away, Peters returns to his home and native land with his Act Your Age World Tour. After sold-out shows in Chicago, New York, DC, Cairo, Amman, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Russell is bringing his new act to Kelowna at Prospera Place on Saturday night.

Peach City Beach Cruise 2022 - June 24- 26

You can check out some of the Okanagan’s classic cars, rods and antique mobiles this weekend at the Peach City Beach Cruise.

Head on down to Penticton this weekend as hundreds of show cars line up along the magic mile that is Lakeshore Drive.

There will be live entertainment, vendors, souvenirs, dancing, a beer garden, and tons of family-friendly activities. Friday check it out from 9 am to 5 pm or Saturday from 8 am to 10 pm.

Kelowna Falcons Doubleheader - June 25

Itching to watch some sports this weekend?

Don’t worry the Kelowna Falcons will be hosting a double header this Saturday against the Nanaimo NightOwls.

Watch two games for the price of one with games played at 4 pm and 6:35 pm, plus you can enjoy the arguably the best hotdogs in the city.

The Falcons and NightOwls are currently neck and neck in the North Division of the West Coast League, so it’s a game you won’t want to miss.

Pride Fruit Float on the Penticton Channel - June 25

Looking for an excuse to hit the water this weekend?

Head on down to Penticton, to celebrate Pride Month with a float down the Penticton channel.

Pack your swimshorts, your coolers and a couple of snackys for a wild time of floating. Meet down at the launch point at 1 pm for a dance party, and pride swag and hit the water until about 4:30 pm.

Kelowna Farmers’ & Crafters Market - Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday

If you’re new to town, you gotta’ check out Kelowna’s iconic farmers market on Saturday.

On the corner of Dilworth and Springfield from 8 am to 1 pm, browse tons of vendors, food trucks, activities for the kids and so much more.

Hey if you miss it on Wednesday or Saturday no biggie, they’ve re-opened their Satellite Summer Market down at Kerry Park on Sundays from 9 am to 2 pm.

Lake Country Farmers Market - Every Friday until Sept. 30

Not in Kelowna? No biggie, you can head on over to Swalwell Park every Friday until the end of September to check out this small but vibrant market.

Check out a variety of vendors that sell fruits, vegetables, eggs, crafts, sewing, art, plants, flowers, food, etc., for all your local shopping needs.

All products are baked, grown or handmade by the vendors. Feel good by shopping local this summer, scope it out for free from 3 to 7 pm every Friday.

Wentworth’s Greatest Hits - June 25

Join the students from Wentworth Music as they celebrate their 30th anniversary (Best of) concert at the Kelowna Community Theatre on Saturday.

Known as the largest student rock concerts in the country they will perform songs such as take on me by Ah-Ha, Hit me with your best shot by Pat Benatar, Raise your glass by Pink and more!

All proceeds will go towards helping sick kids at the Kelowna General Hospital.

Tickets are 20$ per person.


Starlight Drive-In - June 24-26

Movie lovers, listen up!

This is the ultimate movie-going experience in the Northern Okanagan, The Starlight Drive-In in Enderby will be showing two different movies this weekend!

You can choose from watching the BADS GUYS or Jurassic World Dominion. Tickets can be found online, or you can check out upcoming showings to snag your tickets early.
