The Kelowna RCMP is looking to reunite two "fashion forward" wallets with their rightful owners.
Kelowna Mounties say they are certain that they are looking for two young ladies with "fantastic fashion sense", and they hope to "witnesses a holiday miracle in the middle of June."
On June 11, 2019, an employee from a business at the Orchard Park Mall attended the front counter of the Kelowna Detachment to turn in two near identical glitter coated wallets. The wallets clearly belong to a pair of young ladies, who were either related or best friends, said the RCMP.
Police were told that the pair of wallets were found inside the mall sometime around the 2018 holiday season. After examining the contents of each of the wallets, it is believed that two young ladies, probably sisters, must have been out shopping with the cash and gift cards they were gifted for Christmas.
“We are releasing a photograph taken of one of those very fashion-forward wallets, complete with a pom-pom,” says Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey of the Kelowna RCMP. “The rightful owners, and their parents, must be able to properly describe the unique characters that are on the opposite side of those wallets, and fully explain the contents of each.”
If you know the rightful owner of these adorable wallets or you have any information that may be of assistance, you are asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and cite police file number 2019-33952.
