Pacific FC will finally return home this weekend after spending nearly a month on the road.
It was a rough road swing for the club, who recorded a pair of losses against Atletico Ottawa and Forge FC before playing York United to a 0-0 draw last weekend.
They will look to get back to their winning ways as they host Halifax-based Wanderers FC for a Saturday afternoon match at Starlight Stadium, where they have yet to record a loss in 2022, holding a record of 4-2-0.
The Tridents will need their offence to wake up from its late-spring slumber if they are to keep their undefeated home streak alive this weekend, having recorded just a single goal over their past three contests and only three goals in their past five.
They should have a good opportunity to find the back of the net against a Wanderers squad that has given up the second-most goals against in the league this season, allowing 15 through 11 games.
WFC currently sits fifth in the Canadian Premier standings with a 4-2-5 record on the year.
Kick-off for Saturday’s contest is scheduled for 2pm at Starlight Stadium in Langford.
