Fitting a music festival as uniquely captivating as Shambhala into a succinct film must be a challenge, but the producers behind this visual recap sure rose to the task.
On Tuesday, the festival released its official 2019 Aftermovie featuring a little bit of everything from riverside dancing to late-night raving and all the general shenanigans in-between.
However, the film doesn’t start in the Kootenays on the Shambhala grounds, instead viewers are taken on a journey beginning on the desert playa, before navigating through the forests of the west coast and eventually ending up at the iconic festival site.

In 2019, Shambhala was named Best Music Festival in North America, beating out renowned American festivals such as Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC).
"It’s just another example of how the independent music production company continues to raise the bar," said festival organizers in a release.
"Proving to the industry goliaths time and time again just what is possible if your dream is big enough."
Coincidently, tickets for 23rd edition of Shambhala Music Festival went on sale today!
