2 people arrested and charge in relation to theft at Prince George business

On Monday at about 7 am, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a commercial break in on the 1000 block of Victoria Street.

Officers attended and found forced entry to the business. A small amount of cash and gift cards had been taken, along with a cash drawer.

At about 8 am, an officer making patrols in the Connaught Hill area located and arrested an adult male and an adult female in possession of the stolen cash drawer, a small amount of cash and gift cards specific to the business.

The BC Prosecution Service has approved the following Criminal Code charges against 30-year-old Cole Aubichon, of Prince George:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Fail to comply with an undertaking (2 counts)

The BC Prosecution Service have approved the following Criminal Code charges against 29-year-old Shayla Rae Crispin, of Prince George:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Fail to comply with an undertaking

Both suspects were remanded in custody overnight and will make their first court appearance later today.
