BC Parks will each have an extra free admission day in 2018

Canada has got a surprise for you that will make your travels for the rest of 2018 a little more adventurous for less money.

All national parks and historic sites are already free on Canada Day, but an extra free admission day is being added this year.

In 2018, each national park, marine conservation area and historic site will offer a day where you can visit at no admission cost. Lockage at historic canals will also be free on the designated day.

Here are dates you can explore these BC Parks on for free:

  • Fort St. James National Historic Site - May 21, 2018
  • Pacific Rim National Park Reserve - June 21, 2018
  • Glacier National Park - Sept. 15, 2018
  • Mount Revelstoke National Park - Sept. 15, 2018
  • Rogers Pass National Historic Site - Sept. 15, 2018
  • Fort Langley National Historic Site - Oct. 6, 2018
  • Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Site - Oct. 6, 2018
  • Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site - Oct. 6, 2018
  • Kootenay National Park - Nov. 23, 2018
  • Yoho National Park - Nov. 23, 2018
