Upon pulling over the vehicle, which bore licence plates from an eastern province, police detained the driver and the passenger under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Officers subsequently began a search of the vehicle alongside the South East District Roving Traffic Unit that yielded approximately $1.9-million in Canadian cash currency.
According to RCMP, a serious collision may have been prevented as a result of the erratic driving tip.
The two men have since been released on a recognizance for a future court date.
