One of the most unique Airbnbs in all of British Columbia is up for sale.
It’s not for sale specifically, but it’s located on a property in Bridesville, a 30-minute drive east of Osoyoos, that is currently on the market for $2.5 million.
The Century 21 listing boasts “built-in revenue” generated through the popular Airbnb, noting that it has bookings well into the future.
The Hobbit-inspired home is built right into the Earth and is quite cozy inside, with a queen-size bed, seating area, mini kitchen, dining table and bathroom that includes a shower.
You can check out plenty of photos of the exterior here with a more in depth look at the interior available here.
The Airbnb is called the Second Breakfast Hideaway rather than anything with Hobbit in the name to avoid potential legal action from Warner Bros, but that hasn't stopped people from branding it as such on their own.
In 2022, it was shortlisted by Airbnb as one of Canada’s most wishlisted unique stays.
Beyond the potential of the Airbnb, which appears to rent for just over $400 a night in the summer, the 400-acre property has a lot to offer for anyone looking to live a little off the grid.
It features a three-bedroom home, two barns with nine total stalls, a large shop, two pole barns and a machine shed, along with a cabin on the far side of the property.
The Century 21 listing also boasts “great views” of Mt. Baldy and notes that there’s plenty of large game on the property that backs onto Crown land.
