I'm Sara! I'm an adventurous creative spirit, originally from Winnipeg, MB. After graduating from University, my boyfriend and I decided to abandon prairie winters and head for Vancouver Island. In Victoria, I spend most of my time growing my small business, staying active and getting outdoors. I am passionate about design, photography and travel.

Why do you use Instagram?

I use Instagram to share my perspective with others. I love capturing moments or coming up with creative concepts, and Instagram the best way to share those photos with the world.

Captions after the long weekend are hard so I’m going to keep it short and sort of sweet. Happy Monday friends 🧡

What will people see on your feed?

My feed is a mixture of design, lifestyle, and adventure/travel photos. It definitely has an eclectic feel.

Does your page have a specific style?

My goal is to capture special moments and interesting perspectives, whether I'm in the city or adventuring in nature! I tend to like things to be very clean and minimal, with interesting color choices.

I am beyond excited to get out of the city + go camping with friends this weekend. A couple of days unplugged is so needed right now 🙏🏻

Favorite Instagram accounts to follow?

This is a hard question! There are so many awesome creatives on the platform, that it's hard to narrow down my favorites!

My most-loved IG account is @briannamadia. She is an adventurous writer which lives in her bright orange van with her partner, and two dogs. Her captions are so beautifully written, and they're very real!

I also love @jasminedowling. She is a designer and letterer from Brisbane, Australia. Oh, and @ps.ny, because who doesn't like cute pups and minimal bubblegum pink vibes!

How do you decide on your location for shoots?

It's not really something that I plan ahead of time. I'm always on the look out for an interesting shot, and I bring my camera nearly everywhere I go!

Biggest Instagram moment?

I'm not sure that I have a biggest Instagram moment. Two things that have allowed me to grow on the platform and as a person: growing thicker skin and stepping out of my comfort zone.

The first signs of spring 🌞🌸 I’m loving the evening light, just what I needed to pull myself out of my end-of-winter creative funk.
