If you know, you know.
Despite the insane housing costs… Vancouver is undoubtedly one of the world’s most scenic cities.
Apparently, the fine folks at the Flight Network agree too.
On Tuesday, the popular travel site released its annual “The World’s 50 Most Beautiful Cities” with Vancouver listed fifth, just behind the likes of Paris, New York, London and Venice.
"From a bustling metropolitan area to lush forests and pristine beaches – Vancouver has it all!" stated the Flight Network in its ranking.
The writeup goes on to mention must stop spots such as Grandville Island, English Bay and the Capilano Suspension Bridge, to name a few.
However, Vancity wasn't the only Canada location to make it into the top 50.
The country's largest city Toronto was ranked 21st, while Quebec's provincial capital Quebec City placed 23rd on the list.
To come up with its list, Flight Network says it asked over a thousand travel writers, bloggers, and agencies from around the world.
“This extensive collaboration produced the most thoughtful and definitive list of the World’s Best Cities — a guide that will inspire travellers not only in 2019 but for years to come,” said the website.
“This unparalleled guide will both challenge you to take a fresh look at famous megacities like New York and dream of new destinations like chilly and charming Bergen, Norway.”
