Lights of Wonder is officially back at Centennial Square starting today at 4 pm.
The Downtown Victoria Business Association (DVBA) will be transforming Centennial Square into a magical light show until Dec. 31, 2023.
The outdoor event features themed light exhibits, four interactive light tunnels, and a 40-foot festive tree. This year, there is a new immersive light tunnel to explore amongst the other light displays. And, for the first time since Lights of Wonder began in 2019, the lights will be on every evening throughout the month.
In addition, for the first time in years, the DVBA is offering free horse-drawn trolly rides around downtown. These will be available from 5 pm to 7 pm on December 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th.
For the kick-off night, the DVBA has a lot planned. There will be $10 Bay Centre vouchers available to the first 1,000 people who check in at the Information Hut.
You can catch entertainment on the stage by local musicians, The Monkeys in a Box and JaimesonRhy. They'll be joined by local magician Jason Verners.
