Royal Roads University is warning visitors about a bear and cougar that have been recently spotted on the grounds.
The university, located in Colwood, says that the gardens have been closed as a result.

BC Conservation has been called and is aware of the sightings.
If you’re planning on spending some time checking out the campus and the surrounding area, it’s recommended to use the buddy system and keep children close. Dogs should also be kept on a leash.
