The day is here, one that Winnipeg Blue Bombers fans have been waiting a year for since their team was defeated by the Toronto Argonauts in the Grey Cup last year.
Making their fourth straight appearance in the Grey Cup, the Blue Bombers are taking on the Montreal Alouettes in the 110th edition of Canada’s biggest football game.
Neither team has lost a game since mid-September as the Als are on a seven-game streak and the Blue Bombers have won five straight.
The Als are coming off a massive win against the Toronto Argonauts last weekend.
Montreal was the underdog in their Eastern Final matchup against Toronto, the second team to ever finish a CFL season 16-2.
But the Als did not let Toronto’s record scare them – going on to dominate the Argos for the entire game and book their Grey Cup ticket.

This will be Montreal’s first appearance in the big game since 2010 when they defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
For this Winnipeg Blue Bombers squad, they are no strangers to the big game, making their fourth straight appearance.
Winnipeg won the 2019 and 2021 Grey Cups, narrowly missing out on winning a third straight championship last year.

The Blue Bombers are led by veteran quarterback, Zach Collaros, who finished first in passing touchdowns and was second in passing yards this season.
Leading the Als is Cody Fajardo, who finished the season fifth in passing yards and touchdowns.
This will be the first time these two teams face off in the Grey Cup.
Kick off is at 3 pm PST.
