The final shape of Pacific FC’s 2023 roster is rounding into form as the team announced the signing of forward Adonijah Reid on Tuesday.
Reid last appeared professionally for Miami FC of the USL Championship, where he spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons, recording nine goals and six assists in 55 matches.
Prior to his time in South Florida, the 23-year-old played for Le Havre AC of the French Ligue 2, as well as Ottawa Fury of the USLC, where he appeared alongside PFC’s former Team Captain and current Manager of Football and Player Development Jamar Dixon.
“Adonijah is a dynamic and inspiring player who knows how to find the back of the net,” said Dixon in a press release Tuesday.. “He has a big future ahead of him and we are happy to provide this opportunity for him to break out and take his game to the next level.”
Reid is also a former selection of Dallas FC in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft and had trials with OGC Nice and Olympique Lyonnai as a youth.
Pacific FC’s 2023 season is set to kick-off Apr. 14 against Vancouver FC at Starlight Stadium in Langford.
