Popular Victoria cocktail bar to close doors next month

One of Victoria’s most popular cocktail bars is shutting its doors permanently this April.

Clarke & Co has been serving up specialty cocktails on its Blanchard Street location in Downtown Victoria for the past seven years, but on Apr. 9 it will serve its last drink , as the company announced on Instagram:

In the meantime, Clarke & Co will remain open and has several special nights planned as they count down to their final day.

There have been a number of restaurants and bars that have ceased operations over the past year, with both the Oak Bay Marina Restaurant and Agrius closing their doors over the past two months, both citing increased cost of business as a main factor.
