The new Esquimalt library celebrated its grand opening over the weekend.
Over the past month, the Greater Victoria Public Library (GVPL) has been adding some of the finishing touches to the recently relocated Esquimalt branch.
On Saturday, the community was invited to a celebration, which included family-friendly activities and a few words from Mayor Barbara Desjardins.
Visitors got the chance to tour the library for the first time, and learn about features such as the digital media lab, study rooms and more.
