The BC Legislature will be lit up for Christmas tonight

Once again, the BC Legislature will light up for Christmas alongside all of Canada’s capital monuments.

Canadians can admire the thousands of lights that shine every evening at each capital's monuments and sites this holiday season.

In Victoria, the light up will begin in front of the Parliament buildings at 6 pm on Dec. 1, 2022.

Both the Parliament Buildings and the provincial Christmas tree will be draped with festive lights.

The event will feature choir singers from Glenlyon Norfolk Middle School, Daniel Lapp’s Joy of Life Choir, the Victoria Children’s Choir and the Reynolds Secondary Carol Band.

There will also be tasty seasonal treats to be enjoyed.
